Night A&P Classes at Thrust Institute of Maintenance
Thrust Institute of Maintenance offers night classes for its FAA-approved Aviation Maintenance Technician program. Night classes run Monday through Friday, 4 PM to 12 AM, at the Addison, Texas campus.
Same AMT Program but on an Evening Schedule
The night class curriculum is identical to the day program. Students complete the same 1,900 hours of FAA-required training, use the same equipment, and work on the same aircraft engines and airframes. The only difference is when you show up.
Night students graduate with the same qualifications and are eligible for the same FAA A&P certification exams as day students.

Who Night Classes Are For
Night classes exist for people who can’t attend during normal business hours.
That includes people currently working a day job who want to transition into aviation maintenance without quitting first. It includes parents who handle childcare during the day. It includes anyone whose schedule doesn’t allow for an 8 AM to 4 PM commitment.

Switching Between Day and Night
If your work schedule changes during the program, you can request to switch between day and night classes.
You’ll need to coordinate with the admissions team and your instructor, and the switch depends on availability. But the option exists, which gives you flexibility that most A&P schools don’t offer.
