New A&P Mechanic School Set to Open in November

Addison, TX — August 31, 2023 — Thrust Institute of Maintenance, sister school of the renowned pilot academy Thrust Flight, is thrilled to announce the commencement of its first Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) class on November 6th, 2023. With a commitment to excellence in aviation education, Thrust Institute of Maintenance offers a 12-month program that not only prepares students for the demands of the industry but also ensures a seamless transition from classroom theory to real-world application.

Under the leadership of Director Jon Dillenberg, Thrust Institute is poised to educate and empower the next generation of Aviation Maintenance Technicians. With years of experience and a passion for aviation, Jon is excited to shape the careers of aspiring aviation enthusiasts and instill in them a comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance.

Thrust Institute of Maintenance’s innovative curriculum goes beyond traditional teaching methods, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and insights that bridge the gap between theory and practice. The 12-month program is carefully designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their future careers.

“Aviation Maintenance Technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft. With the launch of our A&P class, we are committed to providing a top-notch education that prepares students for the challenges of this industry,” said Patrick Arnzen, CEO of Thrust Flight and Thrust Institute of Maintenance. “Our approach nurtures critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared for the real-world scenarios they’ll encounter.”

In addition to announcing the inaugural class, Thrust Institute is anticipating a night class for A&P students starting in early 2024.

The timing of this inaugural class couldn’t be more perfect. The aviation industry is facing a significant shortage of skilled technicians, which has the potential to impact air travel on a global scale.
